Dr. Robert Arn, President and CTO
Robert Arn has founded and developed multiple companies that have transformed markets in networks and media. His first venture Gensat Corp. (acquired by Electrohome/Panasonic) developed and marketed the first consumer digital satellite receiver. His next venture, Cemcorp (acquired by Unisys) developed and marketed the first plug and play network computers.

Dr. Arn was a founding executive and director of Meridian Technologies Inc. which went public on the Toronto Exchange before acquisition by Norsk Hydro ASA. He subsequently arranged a management buyout of a Meridian natural language processing subsidiary, ESP Inc., which he transformed into the first developer and marketer of award-winning web analysis products under the name of InContext Corp. As CEO, he took InContext Corp. public on the Toronto Exchange prior to its subsequent acquisition by Pervasive Software Inc. of Austin TX. (NASDAQ: PVSW). He served as Chief Technology Officer of Pervasive until leaving to found Itiva Digital Media Corp. in 2003, based on the conviction that video entertainment would ultimately move to the Internet.

Dr. Arn graduated #1 in his class with a B.Sc. from the University of Saskatchewan and was awarded the Rhodes Scholarship to continue his studies at Oxford University, where he graduated with an M.A. degree and the Woodrow Wilson Award. He subsequently completed his Ph.D. degree as a Rockefeller Foundation Scholar at Cambridge University.
