Itiva Digital Media Appoints Derek Lownsbrough VP Engineering
Heads Web Video Transport Company Engineering Team
Palo Alto, Calif. – May 19, 2006 – Itiva Digital Media, developers of high definition Internet video delivery technologies, has appointed Derek Lownsbrough to the post of Vice President, Engineering. Lownsbrough, whose experience includes six years at Packeteer, will lead the company’s efforts in taking Itiva’s Quantum Transport™ to commercial release.

Derek Lownsbrough is an experienced Engineering Manager with more than 11 years building software and managing R&D teams. Prior to joining Itiva, Derek recently served as Software Development Manager with Packeteer. He holds a patent, System and Method for Efficiently Forwarding Client Requests from a Proxy Server, with additional patents pending.
